I was raised in Ontario, lived for 7 years in Vancouver, and traveled to 9/10 provinces (sorry Saskatchewan!). I love poutine, affordable health care and the increase int he TFSA limit in 2015.

Saddled with $45,000 in debt and a BA in history, I worked hard over 7 years to pay off my loans in October 2014 despite 4 bouts of unemployment and a cross-country move back home. (And 2 trips to Europe).

I firmly believe in finding a balance between living for today and saving for tomorrow. This blog is about my challenges faces as a newly debt-free 30 year old learning about my own priorities and goals and the hard truths about personal finance.

Thanks for coming!
